Extremely confused

When I finally got my bachelor degree, I applied to graduate school but I did not really expect them to accept me, I planed to relax during the summer and then start looking for a job. It was a really big surprise when instead for “we are sorry to inform you” letter I received a letter of acceptance. It was a difficult decision to make.

Anyway I finished the semester, got my A’s and decided to see what kind of job offers I would get. It only took me a week to get 3 interviews and two offers. I accepted a 4 month internship offer from IBM. When I accepted the offer I expected to work for 4 month and then go back to school. When they mentioned they they have very special internship called “Extreme Blue” (600 application for 4 positions) I was not even really curious, I had other plans…

I always work hard, I’m too young to be complacent, I guess my boss noticed that and talked to IBM Extreme Blue managers at our lab, they scheduled an interview and the next day I got an offer. Right now I feel really confused, I don’t feel like I’m in control in my life, unscheduled good things just happen.

I will accept the offer and see where it would lead me…

Sometimes I think that I should get a girlfriend. But then I do nothing to advance that goal.

I think, that I think, that gf is like a horse — once i get one, I will have fun sure, but I will also have to maintain it, take care of it and if I don’t want one anymore it would be difficult to get rid of.

This is why I think I don’t have one. Lazy, horseless bum.
