You know, I almost find that funny. No wonder they used to not show the number of failures… (I am so glad I passed that course the first time around)
One lesson that I learned is that it really important who teaches the course. Now I will never take a course that Krzyzak teaches.
First he told that we will use the same book we used in COMP238, but gave homework and quizzes based on Rosen book (and our book did not have same problems at all),
Second on midterm he asked to prove something. I did a proof by counter example, but he said that my counter example was not correct because it’s a special case. But he never said anything about special cases for this function in the class or in his notes, it’s not even in the book (Actually I was right by the book definition).
Anyway I passed and that’s all that meters for me.
Tell your prof he needs to get a clue. And some vowels.
