Am I the only one that doesn’t put the slightest amount of faith into those numbers?

My cs degree from cegep boasted something like a 97 or 98% placement rate. Now 3 years after of the few graduates (a little over 100 students first semester, 9 graduates) there were, one was working the job he was working before he enrolled (salesman in a computer shop) up until a month ago, one has contracts on and off, one has a job, and the rest went back to school. 2 went into uni cs, and 3 went into unrelated branches.

All the people that went back to school (myself included) didn’t believe they had the slightest chance for a decent job in the job market and as far as I know only 1 managed to get a good, stable job.

    And yet they’re still saying 97, 98%.
