To people with laptop with broken CD-Ron
Posted on June 18, 2004
If you have a notebook and for some reason that I don’t want to know you have to install operation system (Linux or Windows does not meteor) and at the same time your CD drive went barges and does not want to boot you don’t have to call your CD-drive supplier and order new one. You can install it from network! And it is quite easy. All you need to have is a second computer and brain. For Linux I suggest to try using Mandrake because they have nice wizard that works and when you need windows I suggest you first to try to install XP because it has more network card drivers. Search for RIS HOW-TO in Microsoft knowledge base.
