Well I'm not going to be disputing your decision.. I was just saying it would've been better to have more info =)

But now the 2nd half of 348 might be worse than the first half. I failed to convince him that Fortran is a bad idea so we're either going to be doing Transaction Haskell (some version of haskell for parallel computers apparently) or Fortran =/

Besides after I saw your post on Skrud's forum: "comp348 in the winter is going to be with Dr. Constantinides. We've already started preparing it and plan on covering Functional Programming with Scheme, Logical Programming with Prolog, OOP with Smalltalk, along with some Ruby and JAspect thrown in there for good measure and possibly some "far out" concepts in programming languages if he finds any interesting ones he wants to dedicate a lecture or 2 on (we left 2 or 3 lectures blank I think so allow for this kind of topic)." I am even more happier that I dropped that course.

Well it is my fault too, I did not finish my poker game even thought I had all the supporting code ready weeks before it was due. And I made some really stupid mistakes on midterm, for example i did not noticed second part in S->ABC|AC and wrote A*B+C* for RE in q1. Similar stupid mistakes in other questions.

With that and his marking of my theory I could have got C+ or B-. I will try to get a better grade next semester.

The final he told me will very different.

I suppose you could've waited until you got your mark back to make your decision. I don't remember your mark off by heart but I think it was about average or a little higher.

The average is actually not that bad. Other than the invariants questions where a great majority got 0, people did pretty well.
