Mac OS

I don’t like macos leopard:
- When I delete the file it does not select next file and instead go up in direcory tree, so I have to naviage back where I was before.
- When I select group of files and press shift+up it select extra file above instead of unselecting last file
- Once selected a group of files, I can’t unselect a file.
- It does not follow Filesystem Hierarchy Standard.
- Often if feels like it’s a single threaded os just like msdos.
- more, but who cares…

supercomputers

Roadrunner was built by IBM and will be housed at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where it will be used to perform calculations that will vastly improve the nation’s ability to certify that the United States nuclear weapons stockpile is reliable without conducting underground nuclear tests.
IBM today announced the deployment of Canada’s fastest research supercomputer at the Ontario Cancer Institute, University Health Network. The new system will aid in the search for more effective cancer treatments.
P.S What is so interesting in nuclear simulation? It seems that they run it on every new supercomputer.
